Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss are donating some of their clothes to help raise money to combat the Ebola crisis. The pair will be donating their clothes to Naomi's pop-up shop in Westfield London, set up by the supermodel to try and combat the disease.
The charitable store will feature brand new designer pieces at exclusive prices, as well as offering shoppers the chance to win a one-off celebrity item with a Golden Ticket.
"I'm thrilled to return to Westfield London to launch the Fashion For Relief pop-up store," said Naomi in a statement. "Raising awareness for Ebola and educating about its prevention is crucial to help prevent the spread of this deadly disease."
"We hope the Fashion For Relief store will raise much-needed funds and awareness, whilst offering amazing pieces at accessible prices."
The exclusive shop is part of Naomi's Fashion For Relief campaign, which the 44-year-old set up in 2005 to help generate funds for disaster relief through projects ranging from fashion shows to auctions.
It is the second time that the British beauty has created an exclusive store to raise money for charity, with the first store seeing over £20,000 being raised.
Naomi, who is reportedly also hosting two fashion shows to raise more money for the cause, has previously admitted that she is 'scared' of the virus, and that she owns a home in Kenya, as well as working with three orphanages there. "Ebola does not discriminate," she told Page Six.
The British beauty has turned to her high-profile friends for clothing donationsto help raise as much money and awareness as possible, so it comes as no surprise that close friend Kate was quick to support her friend.
The pair are notoriously close, and teamed up earlier this year to support Cancer Research's Stand Up For Cancer campaign by taking part in a one-off episode of Gogglebox.
The Fashion For Relief pop-up store will run from 28 November to 4 December in Westfield London in White City. - hellomagazine reportage

Nigeria born, Ireland based rapper Oluwafunmilayo Priscilla Ayibiowu who simply wants to be addressed as Lady FunL’ayo after her first single titled Omoge oni Bukata's Trust (still making waves) just released another pleasant and outstanding singles titled Alebu(Imperfection) and Procrastination No No No for our listening pleasure.

ReplyDeleteThanks to the Naomi and Kate, every penny is needed to combat this Ebola scourge, may your venture be successful.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Cuba too, they've been sending health personnel and materials to aid Africa (they've donated more than any other country even the super powers). A small poor country with a large heart, thank you and may God bless you and your citizens and protect the ones helping in different African country. Cuba a true friend of Africa (my opinion).
