Presidency Replies Gov Amaech - Says Stop Political Rascality And Blackmail.

APC had their Rally yesterday Saturday October 25,2014 in Port harcourt and the turn out was amazing.......
At the Rally Governor Rotimi Amaechi after Dancing 'Shoki' on the Podium told all who cared to listen that President Jonathan was not his brother........
He also said enough to warrant a Presidential response!

I dont know if responding to Gov Amaechi is a wise thing to do but read the response anyways!

STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE

STOP POLITICAL RASCALITY AND BLACKMAIL -PRESIDENCY WARNS AMAECHI
Governor Rotimi Amaechi took his obnoxious willingness to denigrate the highest office in the land in a reckless bid to advance his selfish political interests to a new level of irresponsible and rascally behaviour yesterday in Port Harcourt with his totally false and baseless vituperations against President Jonathan, the First Lady and the Federal Government.

ROTIMI AMAECHI DANCING ''SHOKI ANNNNNNNH....''

It appears from the Governor's completely unfounded and off-the-mark allegations that he had totally lost all sense of propriety, decorum and responsible political behaviour and resorted to unacceptable demagoguery, libel, blackmail and incitement of public disorder.

Unless his unbridled ambition and desire for self- promotion have completely befuddled his mental faculties and caused him to totally lose touch with reality, Governor Amaechi must know that his claims and allegations are untrue.
We can only assume therefore that he is deliberately spewing malicious falsehood in a desperate effort to incite the people of Rivers State and Nigeria against his assumed political foes.

We warn him that there are legal, constitutional and moral limits to political rascality beyond which he will not be allowed to go without repercussions.
The immunity which he currently enjoys notwithstanding, Governor Amaechi should be under no illusions:  A day of reckoning will surely come when he will answer for all his actions and false allegations against President Jonathan, the First Lady and the Federal Government.

He should also know that Nigerians are aware of the truth and will never be fooled or swayed by his arrant opportunism and anti-Jonathan rantings.
Nigerians know that while Mr. Amaechi falsely accuses others of corruption, he cannot show or explain to the people of Rivers State what he has done with the billions of Naira that has accrued to the state under his tenure.

They also know that while Amaechi continues to falsely accuse the Jonathan Administration of having done nothing for Rivers State, he has recklessly squandered huge state resources on dubious, vain-glorious projects or self aggrandizement.

Nigerians will know too that while he falsely alleges that Rivers and other states have not received funds due to them from the Federation account, the only outstanding allocation was for September, which was released to all states well over a week ago.

The Governor should stop trying to make President Jonathan the scapegoat for his woeful performance in Rivers State and look to his own very apparent failings and incompetencies.

He should also stop blackmailing the First Lady who has demanded nothing from him other than good governance, justice, equity, fairness, real development and progress in Rivers State.

  16. Reuben Abati shld go n take several seats. When the likes of FFK and Nyesom Wike were making such outrageous statements against APC and Amaechi, how come dey were not called to order by the presidency? These were the same pple that used to bad mouth the presidency until they changed camps. Reuben Abati shld also bear in mind that his boss also has questions to answer with respect to waste of our nation's resources. How come Diezani got a court order to stop the senate from probing her for the financial allegations against her and the presidency kept quiet about it? What of Diezani's provate jet saga? Wat of Stella Oduah's bullet proof saga? Wat of the missing money in the NNPC? What about the recently discovered $9.3m arms deal which they claimed that it was a legal deal meanwhile the SA govt was not duely informed abt it? Mr. Reuben Abati, if you ever get to read this, just know that both Amaechi and ur boss are all birds of a feather. I refuse to be deceived by all those ur rubbish statements. I only pray for long life so that i will be able to watch how all of u evil politicians and ur families will end up.

    4. @ Eka: u addressed the issue of the SA arms deal. Pls can u also address Diezani's issue and the court order obtained to stop her being probed. Since u can not look a bad thing in the face and call it bad. U shld be the one respecting urself and not the anonymous.

  24. I was hoping to read Abati countering Amaechi by listing a fee projects the govt had done in Rivers State since that was the main crust of Amaechi's statement but as usual from this govt, all that was spewed was grammar devoid of anything concrete to point to.

Lest we forget, only this govt says, we are not broke, we only just don't have money.

  30. it's amazing how amaechi thinks he can sell this toga of an 'overnight activist' that he tries to wear these days. he has been part of a monster for over eight years. now, just by reigning abuses on his elders he thinks he will automatically become relevant politically??

if he has no respect for patience jonathan as a first lady, then he at least owes her respect as someone who is much older than him, and as another man's wife. i don't see anything that is funny or attractive about this cheekiness. anyway, i'm very sure APC is taking note: the day this guy falls out with them (and that day will certainly come because his move to APC was not about ideology), he will announce Bola Tinubu's atrocities to the world. he will tell everyone exactly who he has been 'dashing' rivers state money to.

one of my jobless cousins was offered 80k to attend this 'stomach infrastructure' rally in PH yesterday. he's a staunch PDP member. the bobo collect d money, chop clean my mouth! of course he went for the 'rent a crowd' rally, made all the right noises and still went home, a staunch PDP member.
