DeleteThe man that shot the video is really very brave and a brother' keeper whilst others were just running away to save themselves, he was videoing and on the look for those that were still alive....

DeleteWe need to take this seriously.
Heard the blast in Lagos was a bomb and not gas or fuel explosion as we were told. It was a female that carried it out. Saw the headless body in ladun's blog. Is that why they are kidnapping people to use them as suicide bombers?
ReplyDeleteChibok girls've been radicalized

ReplyDeleteWe need help and fast too...
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhh my God. Why? Boko haram why do you take pleasure in killing your own kind? This video made me cry. Lord please accept the souls of the dead. What a way to die. There will be so many people that will be accounted for. The banana and groundnut sellers, recharge card sellers, people in their cars on the road, taxi men who park there to carry people, and casual people who are walking in and out. Lord hear our prayers please Lord. Fight this our enemy for us. Amen.
ReplyDeleteStella tnx. I cnt watch. I no get mind.. RIP to the dead.
ReplyDeleteMy dear reading the comments alone am crying I can't deal with things like this the rape video I watched is still hunting me.
DeleteCan't watch the video, but just the thought of it weakens me. My heart is heavy.. These so called humans that don't appreciate life feel it's their due right to take life as they deem fit, and our government has failed us. How long would this go on for really? :( God, please hear our pleas. Sigh
ReplyDeleteStella, firstly thanks for posting this. As gory as it is, we need people to see and know the extend of damage done by the so called Boko Haram idiots. I also hope the president watches this. God help us really, because we are doomed in Nigeria. The best decision i made was to remain in diaspora but i have families in Nigeria so im always scared of such news. We need a revolution in our country, this is not acceptable. At all. My heart goes out to all those affected in any way and thanks to those who were brave enough to help the helpless. God help us. This must end.

ReplyDeleteI really bless d name of God. Am just too young to b a widow. It is well wit Nigeria.
@Amaka Okorie - please be sensitive. Let us not think about ourselves alone. U mean well but there are others younger than you who lost their lives in that blast.
ReplyDeleteThere are people younger than you who became widows on that day and there are people younger than you who became widowers on that day.... Several others if I may say so, younger than you became fatherless, motherless or orphans....
"Too young to be a widow" is not a comment to make when others are mourning......
K
DeleteThank you, anonymous. It is okay to be glad your husband escaped this but keep that away from a place this public WHERE people are mmourning the dead. Gosh! Some people are SO INSENSITIVE it makes me puke.
DeleteI can't bring myself to watch it, may God bring peace to our nation because things are rapidly spinning out of control. Things have indeed fallen apart, the centre can no longer hold. It's a pity our leaders are not seeing it now but it will hit them soon.
ReplyDeleteJesus, have mercy on Nigeria, forgive our sins and have mercy...please, please...
ReplyDeleteHow many more has to die
ReplyDeleteHow many more has to lose an arm
How many more girls has to be kidnapped
How many more times will the President give us his sympathy speech
How many more times will our leaders have to pay visits to the hospitals
Is the labour of our past heroes not in vain?
We have become games in our own land...a land where we should feel the safest
These are people's children, husbands, wives, friends, lovers.
These are Nigerians!!
Nigerians whom the government swore to protect under an oath
Asa said it all in her song and it looks like the river has already overflown and there's no where to hide and they are wishing they had put out the fire instead of exploiting it at the onset.
I weep for the dead
I weep for my fatherland
The sleeping giant has just got to rise...
Stella, you are doing a great job. I am an ardent reader of your blog. Keep up the good work!

DeleteFather Lord, to u we commit our lives and this nation. Hear our cry oh Lord and answer our prayers.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is doomed. Are you blind.
ReplyDeleteHeard snakes and bees are biting them in the forest. So they are moving away from sambisa.
ReplyDeleteLord, I pray that just as you sent serpents to bite the children of Israel in the wilderness when they went astray from your words, please send deadliest serpents like the black mamba and king cobra to bite all the BH leaders to death! Because when the sherperd is no more, the sheep would scatter!
Same way you sent manna to fall from heaven to feed the children of Israel, please send Africanized deadly bees to sting all the sponsors of this BH to death! Because when there is drought, there is death!
Death to all BH!
Death to their sponsors!
Amen through the mighty name of Jesus.
I am not watching. comments are just enough for me.
ReplyDeleteAnd help came ,13 mins into d video. This country just has to work o
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWW!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is sad...
Stella to rule a country is not a do or die affairs. Let us consider how many people that have died already, and how many that is about to die. This is what the present government have to think about. I am thinking and asking myself this question, "How did we get here?" This video to the less affected is "nothing", but to somebody somewhere is "something" Pls, how long must we continue to suffer this, how long will women become widows? children become fatherless, and fathers become widowers, how long will parents become childless in the middle of the day, hopes are gone like fantasies, how long will this unending tears remain? for how long will bloods continue to stink in every nook and cranny of the northern part of Nigeria? please let's somebody answer me now, How long?
ReplyDeleteWhere was the fire engine and medical ambulance?
